I'm going to post this again, just to make sure people get it.
This is a cute picture, but there is so much wrong with it!
Don't EVER drive without your child properly fastened in their car seat, the car seat properly installed, and your child rear-facing as long as the law requires in your area.
I was concerned about my infant seat tipping backward in a crash, but believe it or not, it's OK if that does happen.
For your little one's head falling forward, you can get a little u-shaped cushion to put under her chin.
For car seat checks, go to SafeKids.org to see if any are being done near you.
Otherwise, you can call your local police or fire station... I've heard some people say their police or firemen will check for them.
Our kiddos are so precious, and SO many of them get hurt or killed because their car seats weren't installed properly, or were unsafe and recalled - and parents just didn't know.
Thanks to Jessie for this Frugal Baby Tip!
