Thanks to Cathy for this Frugal Baby Tip!
I was at Hancock Fabrics the other day and was amazed to find Bag Balm. It was in a little tub and they were selling it for $12.50. I was shocked! This is the same stuff I have been using on my hands, most of my life. It is great stuff, but pay that price, NO WAY!!
Go to your local feed store ladies and ask for Bag Balm, you will get a tub 3 times larger for $3-$4 dollars!
I learned about this stuff while growing up on a farm. It is the ointment we used on the cow's utters. It keeps their utters from getting sore, from being milked. Which also keeps you from getting cow kicked when trying to milk them. LOL
