Thanks to Catherine for this Frugal Baby Tip!
We didn't do anything special - but I was thinking about all the things I did today - that I do every day. So I thought we could share...
I carefully opened up my mail, so I could reuse the bigger envelopes
and boxes. I took my cloth bags with me while we walked to the grocery store. I took all the scrap paper - flyers, cancelled orders, changed invoices, etc. - that was still had one good side, and cut them into notepad side to keep beside the phone for taking messages. I washed out all my cans and bottles, and flattened boxes to put in the recycling bin. I used earth-safe cleaners to wash my dishes and do my laundry.
When I walked my dog, I brought home his poop and flushed it down
the toilet. I haven't come up with a better idea for the plastic baggie I toss in the garbage. I guess I could use a reusable nylon bag - but I'm not sure even I am up to that!
So, what did you do for Earth Day?
