The idea of putting pictures up on the wall with a glue stick is excellent, but I change Kyleigh (who will be 9 months old on April 17th) right on my bed, so I give her something to hold that is different from her toys.

I have several large-bead necklaces that I keep handy (probably much like a nursing necklace, basic 80's fashion jewelry ).

You can also pick up supplies at most craft stores (MJDesigns, Michaels, and I think Ben Franklin has a few, but not nearly as good a selection) to make your own.

Or you can probably find some interesting ones at garage sales (yes, it's getting to be that season again!).

I'll talk to her about the colors and the shapes while I'm changing her; even with an All-in-One diaper, I take a minute or two...

It's the southerner in me... I hate being rushed!

Anyway, that seems to work pretty well.

Thanks to Kathy for this Frugal Baby Tip!
