Thanks to Dawna for this Frugal Baby Tip!

Okay, how do you suggest making homemade prefolds? I am interested in this very much. I just made Allison 3 diaper doublers out of 2 layers towel terry and flannel (from an old flannel nightgown) and I am going to make some liners and pads out of the rest of the nightgown and terry. I don't want to make too many doublers until I see if I like using them.

They are cute, made of a pink floral material. Even my husband was impressed! What would I need to make some flannel diapers? Has anyone made any homemade diaper covers? I hand sew right now, so I have to take my time making them.
