Thanks to Katherine for this Frugal Baby Tip!
I will be washing my own diapers instead of using a diaper service, so I was looking for a source of inexpensive but good quality diapers. So... today I just got a whole great big pile of diapers -- 5+ dozen of them -- for $30!!!
OK, they're not new, but they're from the diaper service I've been using for 4.5 months. They're either stained or torn, but the stained ones are perfectly usable, and the torn ones will be sewn into cloth sanitary napkins for FAR less money than I could get the fabric for in the store! I think out of the bag, I have about 40 or 45 usable prefolds as well as over 2 dozen decent quality rags.
I can't believe they sell most of their used diapers to CAR DEALERS! This is a steal! I don't care about stains on them, they're just going to get stained eventually!
