Thanks to Heidi for this Frugal Baby Tip!
My favorite recipe:
In a small squirt bottle (the kind from OB at the hospital is perfect):
- 3 drops Tea Tree Oil
- 3 drops Lavender Oil
- 3 drops Peppermint Oil
Fill the rest with water. I discovered that adding oil of any kind (baby oil, olive oil, etc.) builds up on the pretty wipes & after awhile the solution just runs off the tops of them! The bottle lasts a few days, depending on how much is used & has never gotten stinky for us. It smells so fresh & has kind of a cool feeling. Sometime I'd like to try adding a few drops of a citrus scent oil!
And so much easier than seperating disposable wipes from the diapers. Just throw the wipes in the pail too! And they get baby clean so much better.
