Thanks to Cathy for this Frugal Baby Tip!
With a 5 lb (or less) baby, I would be using cheap terry facecloths (you can buy them at Walmart, Cosco, etc.) folded into thirds as a diaper. Alternatively, fold down one end of a diaper doubler and use that as a diaper. Simply place inside of a tiny diaper wrap, and fasten.
