Thanks to Kathleen for this Frugal Baby Tip!
I was tired of losing the white diapers that I used as burp cloths. I'd go to a friend's house and not know if the one on the couch belonged to my baby or to her baby, so I'd just leave it. Went to a wedding and the burp cloths were repeatedly cleared from the table with the white napkins. (Obviously the staff wasn't paying attention.)
Not crafty enough to embroider my own, too cheap to invest in enough fancy ones to keep me from losing my head. So I dumped them in the washer with a box of rit dye. No more mix-ups or confusion! Everyone knew the denim blue cloth diapers belonged to my little boy. Did pink when I had a girl. Saved me money and brain power.
