Thanks to Christina Blume for this Frugal Baby Tip!
Here is a recipe for a wonderfully healing Baby powder. This is an anti-microbial blend for baby bottoms.
1/2 cup fine white clay (available at health food store or from internet herb suppliers)
1/2 cup arrowroot powder ( this is optional you could simply use 1 cup of clay or 1 cup of cornstarch)
1 Tablespoon each of the following powdered herbs: comfrey root powder, marshmallow root powder, powdered Oregon Grape Root.
1 teaspoon powdered myrrh,
1/2 -1 teaspoon lavender essential oil.
Mix all the ingredients together with a wisk in a large bowl. Mix well and then sift so there are no particles larger than fine dust. Store in a covered container.
