For toddlers or little ones who won't lie still for changing a basket of "forbidden" items to play with will keep them still. Not anything that could really hurt them just a "toy" you don't usually let them have.

Like Daddy's watch, a calculator, empty tape case, etc. Have them pick one out and be sure to but it back as soon as diaper time is over or the item will lose it's novelty.

The little "strawberry" needle sharpener on some "tomato" pin cushions works great for sharpening dull pins. You can get these at any fabric store and most Walmart type stores.

START EARLY!!! Cloth is easy, don't get me wrong, BUT if you want to pin etc. it's easier to start when your little love is too young to make changing difficult. Starting a new anything can be tricky with a toddler, but it is worth it.
