Thanks to Angela for this Frugal Baby Tip!I think I've used the 27"x27" gauze "diapers" for everything *but* diapering. I've used them for:
• Droolcloths
• Handkerchiefs
• Bibs
• High chair straps
• Stroller ties for toys
• Grocery cart straps
• Lovies
• Soaker cloths for leaking breastmilk while nursing
• Lightweight 'blankets'
• 'Bandana' for bundling stuff to carry
• Sun shade
And....once, even as a 'bra' when Alexandra, my larger twin, threw up all over my clothes.
But never once for a diaper. Go figure. They do get wonderfully soft and absorbent for lightweight applications. I recently bought myself another 2 dozen, for use once I get my twins home.
