Thanks to Sally for this Frugal Baby Tip!I have made diapers (fitted) with regular printed flannel. It was pretty thin, but worked.
I know Wal-Mart sells diaper flannel or "super" flannel, that is a bit thicker and I will use next time. I would probably use that for contour diapers too.
I tried an old receiving blanket that seemed pretty thin, but once it was a diaper it was thick, compared to the flannel I bought at the fabric store. It still worked, and absorbs really well.
I also want to try knit jersey (cotton poly mix or 100% cotton). That should be really soft and comfy!
Those are my ideas!
