Thanks to Amanda Collins for this Frugal Baby Tip!
Washing cloth diapers, or have a better wetter?? Put baking soda (1/2 cup per load) in with the wash cycle. It neutralizes the odor. Then add vinegar to the rinse cycle, 1/2 cup as well.

This isn't all the time necessary, though it is recommended. It is said to rebalance the PH. So if you or anyone, especially baby, have sensitive skin, do this.

I agree with using baking soda in the wash with cloth diapers. I used to use washing soda, but found it too harsh on the diapers and my baby's bottom. I also use SoapNuts - which are very gentle on skin, yet tough on dirt and grime. They are the best thing to get out the smell in those diapers!
