Baby Wipes_: Instead of Wipe Warmers

Thanks to Karyn for this Frugal Baby Tip!

This is what I do now that I'm using cloth wipes. (Instead of buying a wipe warmer.)

I just wet the wipe with warm tap water from the bathroom sink just before I lay baby down to change him. I change him on the floor now that he's too long (and too wiggly) for his change table. Simple, and inexpensive!

When we're out of the house I carry an insulated thermos full of warm water in the diaper bag. I can use this water for at least 3 purposes: to mix with dry baby cereal (packed in another container) for a meal on the go; to wet cloth wipes or washcloths for washing messy hands and faces; and of course for wetting cloth wipes at diaper changes. It works great!
